Fabiola + Richard {Cassina Point Plantation}

I first met Fabiola when we worked together on a fun styled shoot (see here--shes's an amazing wedding photographer herself!) in Charleston, Spring of 2016. If you had told me that a year from then I would be flowering her gorgeous wedding day on Edisto Island I wouldn't have believed it, but we hit it off and she was sweet enough to trust me with her blooms for the day. Along with Eden of Paraiso Event Design, we worked to create a romantic design that complimented the existing beauty of Cassina Point Plantation. Lush bouquets of peonies, lilac, ranunculus, sweet pea and hellebore from my own garden tied with silk streamer ribbons, copious centerpieces in brass and gold mercury glass compotes, and a cross adorned with the sweetest spray of blush and white blooms for the ceremony are just a few of my favorite components of this dreamy day.

Fabiola put SO much work and love and creativity into her wedding day. I was seriously picking my jaw up at every turn. She's one of those people who must have a 30 hour day instead of just 24 because I don't know how she does it all. From the hand lettered glass cut place cards that she made (the week of the wedding!) to the watercolored paintings of each guest's home that she made as favors, everything she did was thoughtful, beautiful, and full of love. What a joy to be a small part of their day!

SO thankful that Rach Loves Troy was there to capture every beautiful bit!

Emily + Austin {Boxwood Estate}

Taking a break from flower ordering for all of my October weddings to share these dreamy images from Emily + Austin's wedding day at Boxwood Estate. Not only was the design and planning process such a joy with this precious bride, but her wedding day turned out to be pretty amazing too. Emily wanted a design that was classic and feminine, with a touch of garden and texture and I think the result was just that. Plus, it was peak peony season so that always makes everything a little extra yummy.
I truly can't say enough how obsessed I am with Boxwood Estate either! Seriously, if I did weddings there every weekend I think I'd be okay. The staff, the grounds, the interior of the palatial home... it was stunning from top to bottom. Lastly, sweet Marla of Marla Lawson Events was such a joy to work with! So helpful and hospitable. I love when I get to meet and hit it off with other talented vendors.

Enough of me rambling about how wonderful this day was. The beautiful Erica Serrano Photography pictures tell the story way better than I ever could...

Jordan + Pearce {Lowndes Grove Plantation}

Trying to make more time for my blog these days, people. Well, nothing inspires me to sit down and crank out a post like getting back AMAZING images from Aaron & Jillian Photography from sweet Jordan and Pearce's day at Lowndes Grove last month! Jordan was one of the kindest and chillest brides and it was such a joy flowering her Big Day. All the blush and greenery goodness! Between the top notch anemones and the incredible garden roses from Grace Rose Farm, Jordan's flowers shaped up to be some of my favorite of the Summer season.

So fun working on this one with my girl Pamela of Pamela Morgan Events

PS. Remember on my Instagram story how I mentioned that Jordan painted me a painting of the dock at Lowndes Grove as a thank you gift? Check out this beautiful shot that Jillian captured of it! Sweet Jordan knew that this was a special spot for me because I celebrated my own wedding day at Lowndes Grove over five years ago. Cue the sappy florist tears.

Brennan + William {Summerfield Farms}

When I first sat down with Brennan and her sweet mama this past Spring to chat flowers for her Summerfield Farms wedding in August I was immediately in love with each of them and especially Brennan's fun and feminine vision for her wedding flowers. I mentioned to Brennan that traditionally the groom provides his bride's bouquet and we decided that it would be so special for him to present it to her during their first look, each of them getting to surprise each other with something beautiful! Well, Amanda Castle Photography couldn't have captured those moments any better. I literally had tears in my eyes when I saw the images for the first time! Brennan's bouquet was a dreamy combo of Café au Lait dahlias, Juliet garden roses, peach ranunculus, Queen Anne's Lace, and more. Definitely one of my favorites from this season! The rest of the day was just as gorgeous with her adorable group of blush bridesmaids, eucalyptus running down the dining tables, and more local dahlias stealing the show in every centerpiece. I also loved creating her ceremony wreath of eucalyptus, blush hydrangea, stock and Juliet garden roses. They even had a watercolor rendition of the wreath printed on the invites to set the tone! So sweet. From top to bottom this day, planned by the ladies at A Touch of Southern Events, was pure joy. Congratulations, Brennan and William!!

Featured on Ruffled | Charleston Bridal Shower Styled Shoot

This styled shoot was too much fun! Eden of Paraiso Event Design had a vision of mixing harder industrial elements with colorful, delicate and fun floral elements and the combo was a blast to work with! From the blooming table garland of garden roses, ranunculus, parrot tulips, and jasmine to the teeny cake topper blooms, every bit of this shoot was fun from beginning to end! Ruffled thought so too!
